We are looking forward to some special Christmas music lead by the Praise Team, children’s songs, Nativity scene, and the Christmas story in Scripture; all to celebrate Jesus’ birth. Plan on staying after to enjoy a covered dish luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a heart ready to celebrate and your favorite recipe to share.
Our Sanctuary Choir always does a great job of telling the Easter story through powerful songs, instruments, and narration. This years celebration is called “God So Loved the World” and is sure to be a great time of worship! We hope you can stay after service for a great time of fellowship around the tables, as we enjoy a covered dish luncheon. Please come and be our guests this Palm Sunday.
Every Christmas our Choir and musicians perform a beautiful musical; this year it was entitled ‘Celebrate His Name! Proclaim His Birth!’ We were blessed to hear the Christmas story through music and to examine some of the powerful names of God mentioned in Scripture. Thank you Choir for leading us in a great time of worship and celebration.
The Sanctuary Choir and Musicians of First Baptist Lithonia will be leading in worship as they present their annual Christmas musical entitled, ‘Light Looked Down and the Word became flesh”. This beautiful story in music will remind us who Jesus is; the Peace he brings;and His Love that can change our hearts!
