A Soldiers Cross

This is a message preached on Memorial Day weekend based on Scripture found in 2Timothy 2:1-7, entitled A Soldiers Cross. The call to be a soldier in the Lord’s army will require four areas of total commitment. There is a call of preparation as we draw close to our Commander; a call to persevere under extreme enemy resistance. There is also a call to complete allegiance and always an attitude of pure appreciation. The call to serve, whether in the Armed Forces or in the Lord’s Army requires complete dedication and is a great honor.

The Call to Follow

This message starts a brand new sermon series entitled ‘Who’s Your One’ which is a NAMB led emphasis on personal evangelism. Today our text will be Luke 5:1-11 and we will look at what it meant for the very first disciples to follow Jesus. What does being a true follower of Christ look like in our own lives today? WE will discover that God desires to lead us on the path of faith and to leave our old ways behind. We must also learn from the Master and be bold enough to cast the net as opportunities come. Anybody ready to go fishing with Jesus?

Never Ending Love Story

This was a Mother’s Day message that was based on the book of Ruth. In this beautiful story we can see that a mother’s love is completely pure and forms an unbreakable bond with her children. We are also reminded of the wonderful wisdom that God has given moms and how we should strive to bring them the honor they are due. Praise the Lord for that amazing treasure we call mom!
