This years VBS is coming fast! It all begins with a Big Kick-off on Saturday, May 31st! The name of this year’s adventure is called Wonder Junction with a western theme. The Excitement will continue from June 1 till 5, from 6pm until 8:30pm nightly, as the children and teens go on a western round up! The week of VBS will end with Family Night on June 6th, come enjoy your children and an ice cream fellowship.
We invite your family to join us for an outside gaming adventure with a Life Size ‘Chutes and Ladders’ and a giant spin wheel! There will be lots of games to choose from, because this year’s VBS is all about Twists and Turns. Plan to stay and join us for Sno-Cones, Hotdogs, and Nachos and Cheese and don’t forget to sign up for the adventure of a life time in this years VBS!

Vacation Bible School will be a week of fun, games, crafts, Bible stories, worship, snacks, growth for all ages! This year we will be taking a trip to Spark Studios where we will discover that we have been Created! Designed! and Empowered! By an amazing God. Don’t miss the Big Kick-Off Event on Saturday at 1PM!
Everyone grab your shovels and pick axe; and your Bibles too! VBS 2021 is headed to present-day Israel where discovery awaits at Destination Dig. Kids will unearth more than dirt as they dig up exciting evidence that proves biblical events were not just stories. As junior archaeologists, kids will dig into the Word of God to uncover truths about Jesus! Along the way, they’ll discover the truth of Jeremiah 29:13, that God reveals Himself to us when we seek and search for Him with all our hearts. Our big kick-off scavenger hunt, food, and games will be on June 19, from noon till 2pm.
Yes!!! We will be hosting outside –‘Back-Yard’– VBS’s in neighborhoods near you this summer! We have had to make some obvious adjustments to try and keep everyone safe, but the games, crafts, snacks, and lessons will go on! This year’s VBS is called ‘Concrete and Cranes’ and we will be sharing lessons that will prayerfully help develop a firm foundation of faith in your child’s life. Our Motto this year is, ‘Jesus! Our strong foundation!’ Please feel free to join your child and get them checked in safely; stay and help if you would like? There will be a Wellness Check -in Table for when our guests arrive. Get ready for another great adventure as we take a trip ‘Into The Wild’ at this year’s VBS. Get up close and personal with elephants, polar bears, and crocodiles. This summer kids and adults will focus on real life encounters with Jesus that will radically transform their lives. We hope you can make the exciting Kick-off adventure on Saturday, June 8th, at 11AM. Please register ASAP by calling the church office, at the kick-off, or by showing up on Sunday, June 9th. We are very excited about this year’s Vacation Bible School called ‘Breaker Rock Beach’. We want to be ready for this great adventure so God can move mightily in hundreds of lives! Please join us for this vital training so we can plan, prepare, and pray together for a week of Awesome Adventure on the rocky coastline. We hope everyone is ready to get into the Game this year at VBS! First Lithonia will be kicking off this years excitement with a Sports Clinic on Saturday, June 2nd, at 11am. Our VBS is for all ages, from pre-school through adults. We have a class for every member of your family. This year our title is GAME ON with a sports theme. The content is based completely on the Word of God and will most definitely change your life.
