Mission Celebration
Every year we look forward to a special week that we set aside to hear from some of God’s special servants. On Sunday morning we are very excited to be able to hear from Pastor Terre Haas, the people care specialist for Operation Mobilization. Wednesday we will begin with our ‘Taste of the Nations Banquet’ at 6pm, followed at 7pm by a presentation from another missionary.
The Thirst Quencher
This is the final message in a sermon series entitled ‘Life Changing Encounters’, based on Scripture found in John 4:4-30. Here we see that Jesus loves us all and was willing to cross all ethnic and cultural barriers to share the Good-news. This broken, lonely, and hurting woman was hungry for true love and hope; she found it in Christ. When her eyes were opened to the truth, she excitedly told everyone the Good-news and many became believers. Have you met the Savior? Do you have a story to share?
Every ONE is Important
Continuing a sermon series entitled ‘Who’s Your One’ this is a message that emphasizes the importance of every single person in the eyes of God. We will be reminded first that He is a compassionate Shepherd. Next we will see how the very first disciples were burdened to reach their friends withe Gospel. And finally we will see that every person is searching for something to fill an empty void in their life. Jesus is the answer for our world; won’t you care enough to share?
Spread the Joy
This is message #6 in a sermon series entitled ‘The Mission Goes On’. This sermon is entitled Spread the Joy and is based on Scriptures found in Acts 8:4-8 & 26-34. We will clearly see the Gospel has the power to break through any dividing walls of hostility or racial divide. The beauty of our compassionate God is that He pursues each of us in His own unique way and wants us to come to saving faith. And finally, our Savior has called every Christian to be a faithful witness and to do all we can to spread the joy. So are you up for the challenge?
Becoming a Bold Witness
This is message #5 in a sermon series entitled ‘The Mission Goes On’. This message is based on Scriptures found in Acts 4:8-22. The Lord had just done an incredible miracle through His disciples, Peter and John. As hard as it is to believe, the Religious leaders of that day were terrified that people would hear the Gospel message and accept Jesus as their Messiah. These Apostles boldly proclaimed ear. that Jesus is Lord, despite the grave threats from these blind leaders. They relied completely on Divine wisdom and power and continued to preach the Gospel without fear.
